Position overview:
The purpose of the Systems Test process is to ensure that the implementation of each system requirement is tested for compliance, that the system meets the customer expectations, and that the system is ready for delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze assigned System & SW requirements for their verification
Records & reports on clarifications or possible misunderstandings and/or changes to specifications
Define test cases for System & SW requirements verification
Execute defined test cases to verify that the system & software comply with the system & software requirements
Report the discrepancies found during the test of the system
Set up and maintain the test equipment
Maintain traceability between system & software requirements and System & SW test cases
Verify the resolution of software defects
Report on identified risks within a development project
Provide test technical support and feedback to development team members on SW defects found and any other SW issue
Maintain test documentation updated according to the defined processes and procedures
Maintain the integrity of the test artifacts baselines by using the CM system according to the established CM procedures
Design test cases to verify the system item interactions.
Perform the verification of the system item interactions according to the defined test specification
Key skills and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, etc.).
At least 2-3 Years in the same position
Knowledge of the test procedures & techniques established in the organization and project
Knowledge of the test design tools used in the organization & project
Knowledge of the Requirements management system & strategy established in the project
Knowledge of Configuration Management procedures & tools used in the organization & project (i.e., SVN)
Knowledge of the Requirements management tools used in the organization & project (i.e., DOORS, Teamcenter)
Knowledge of the change management tools used in the organization & project (i.e., JIRA)
Knowledge of the problem resolution tools used in the organization & project (i.e., JIRA)
Knowledge of the Functional Safety procedures & techniques established in the organization and project
Knowledge of CANoe environment
Knowledge of CAN, LIN, ETHERNET, FLEXRAY Buses & Tools (Vector, VCT)
Knowledge of HIL systems used in the organization & project (Auto tester)
Knowledge of CAPL Language
Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
