The main responsibilities of the System Test Engineer role are to analyze system & software requirements, design test cases and execute them to verify if the system and software comply with those requirements.
Responsibilities Will Include (but May Not Be Limited To)
Analyze assigned System & SW requirements for their verification
Records & reports on clarifications or possible misunderstandings and/or changes to specifications
Define test cases for System & SW requirements verification
Execute defined test cases to verify that the system & software comply with the system & software requirements
Report the discrepancies found during the test of the system
Set up and maintain the test equipement
Maintain traceability between system & software requirements and System & SW test cases
Verify the resolution of software defects
Report on identified risks within a development project
Provide test technical support and feedback to development team members on SW defects found and any other SW issue
Maintain test documentation updated according to the defined processes and procedures
Maintain the integrity of the test artifacts baselines by using the CM system according to the established CM procedures
To be a success in this role you must have:
BAC+5 Engineer Embedded systems & Electronics
First experience in similar position is appreciated
Knowledge of the test procedures & techniques established in the organization and project
Knowledge of the test design tools used in the organization & project
Fluent English is a must
Experience with working in automotive field would be a plus.
