Description :
We're currently looking for a talented Data Architect with extensive experience to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of data architecture, maintenance of data models, data security and compliance management, stakeholder collaboration, development and execution of data governance policies, the establishment of data quality standards, as well as the analysis of data.
Ideal candidate:
• Minimum 9 years of technical experience
• Technical background using Cloudera, Data Bricks and Tableau
• Experience using scripting languages such as Python, C#, Shell...
• 5+ years of experience in a data architecture role within Big Data & BI
• Extensive professional experience in building architectures, designing applications, and data modeling.
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills, capable of effectively managing and mentoring team members.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments, capable of quickly adjusting to changes.
• Exhibits a solid grasp of database technologies, including data modeling and management principles.
• Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating data in databases.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or R for tasks such as data analysis and automation.
• Familiar with various data management tools and platforms.
• Understands data security and compliance principles thoroughly.
Main tasks:
• Design and develop the technical architecture and data models for applications.
• Review, design, and propose solutions for multiple engineering teams, and oversee code reviews.
• Collaborate with customers, key stakeholders, and business groups to categorize and describe solutions for both technical and business requirements.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies in the field and apply knowledge and experience to improve product features.
• Develop and own the architectural roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's business, client, and stakeholder strategies and requirements.
• Effectively communicate the status and value of proposed designs/solutions to stakeholders.
• Analyze and present current technological solutions and recommend alternative solutions where necessary.
• Ensure data security and compliance by managing organizational data in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure effective and efficient data management across the organization.
• Establish data quality standards and work to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all systems.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
