Qualifications:
Master’s degree in English Studies, Business Administration, Management or related fields.
Full English proficiency. (Language proficiency certificate is preferred)
Articulate, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work experience/ internships as sales representative, business development division or similar.
Time and stress management, teamwork, adaptability and problem-solving, work ethic and attention to detail.
Professional presentation and negotiation skills.
Technical and computer skills including but not limited to:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook…), Adobe PDF, Photoshop, Illustrator…
Composing professional emails, graphics.
Duties:
Prepare technical responses and involve others in the process.
Prepare a detailed market research for the pricing section of the proposal.
Work with Proposals Lead and be responsible for updating RFP response.
Enhance RFP and proposal response process to improve win-rate.
Gather information on selling strategy, pricing, technical capability, and training.
Comply with department, team and project processes and identify innovative ways for improving efficiency of Proposal process.
Ensure projects’ timely completion by strong time management skills.
Possess complete knowledge of company, services and industry.
Consult sales team on opportunities and disseminate content to subject matter experts for completion.
Review quotation orders and resolve order acceptance issues.
Train new team members and guide them through the process from receiving the opportunity package until the submission.
Collect vendors’ documentation and evaluate bid requests and specifications.
Extend editorial support for research, writing, revision and past performance update.
Develop proposal department resource library of proposal tools, documents and graphics.
Support business development efforts such as presentations.
Support business and proposal development process improvements.
Communicates capture strategy to the sales team and makes sure it is implemented effectively.
Communicates expectations and responsibilities to each member of the team.
Recruits subcontractors to help the company successfully bid on projects.
Coordinates and manages the bidding and proposal process.
Conducts research gathers and uses information to determine the best price and the best slate of services for the bid.
Expands the client base while maintaining existing clients.
Works with proposal developers to ensure that a top-notch proposal is submitted to the prospective client.
Answers questions in the proposal and is involved in every phase.
Assigns sections of the proposal to the appropriate experts on the team.
Holds meetings to ensure the work on the proposal is moving forward quickly enough to meet the deadline.
