Position Description:
CGI Federal is searching for an ETL/Database Developer to support a federal contract in Charleston, SC. A Secret (or Interim Secret) Clearance is required for this role.

**This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. however, preferred locations are Charleston, SC, Lafayette, LA, Belton, TX, Fairfax, VA or Baltimore, MD**
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• The ideal candidate will need to be a problem solver and critical thinker that loves to work with data and who is looking for a career transition into a more technical position to learn how to support organizations in leveraging data from the ground up.
• As an ETL or Database Developer you will be part of a team developing data solutions to meet business and enterprise requirements using SQL and ETL Tools to support our mission and objectives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science with a minimum 3-5 years of experience OR 8+ years of professional experience
• **MUST be able to obtain a Secret clearance**
• Will support teams in performing data analysis between source and target databases.
• Will need to develop a strong understanding of the database running in the AWS cloud, specifically RedShift, SQL Server and MySQL databases.
• Support data analysis and data mapping activities.
• Support in the documentation and establishment of data dictionaries.
• Attend client meetings and capture requirements as they relate to data migrations and transformation needs.
• Validate data post migration.
• Expand SQL skills and awareness / experience of good coding practices and ability to articulate such.
• Develop Data Warehouse / Data Mart / Data Modeling / Business Intelligence concepts.
• Supports the maintenance and optimization of existing ETL processes leveraging enterprise ETL tools.
• Additional duties & responsibilities as needed.
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting skills, organization & planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to obtain one of the following certifications within 90-180 days of hire:
• SQL based certifications
• Enterprise ELT Tools certifications
• Cloud certification (AWS)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,300 - $116,100
