Key responsibilities and tasks.
// Participate in annual business plan update by providing key figures (Budget, S&OP, Outlook plan)
// Defines, in collaboration with Sales and Market Development Team, local campaigns objectives based on shared business and customers (channel partners/ growers/ others)
// Work closely with KAM/CUSTOMER ADVISORY REP and Market Development team in your region, to develop together campaign planning (crops and customers), to maximize sales and profitability, at growers, channel and others.
// Successfully support the sales cycle within designated sales region/district/territory, including responsibility for training field sales teams on the marketing campaign elements.
// Orchestrate the marketing campaign planning process, incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders – this includes both regular (e.g., annual) campaigns and ad-hoc campaigns
// Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of campaign planning plan execution; track KPIs (market share, awareness, purchase intent, usage, channel trends /needs) against plan
// Develop new customer interaction concepts (e.g. integrated offer, financial concepts, loyalty programs, etc.) to enable Bayer Crop Science to gain a competitive advantage
// Partner with sales and market development teams on interaction with growers for field events and other local face-to-face promotional activities
// Support Business Intelligence (BI) analysis and markets establishment by region, crops and business units, as well as presenting and defending it to regional sales structures.
// Analyse and forecast crop protection market by crop / segment, update figures on tools - responsible for Optimas, ACE. Contribute for market data collection / market research adhoc and competitor’s analysis activities aligned with Cluster
// Analyse the national market, macro-trends and competitor strategies by crop in your country, as well as identify new business opportunities in the short term
// Coordination Crop Indication in North Africa. In charge of NewPort update. New product in coordination with Head of CA and Growers West Med
// Prepare all the operational steps of the product launch process (product strategy, packaging, price positioning, launch event, internal and external promotion & communication…)
// Coordinate with Supply Chain, Regulatory Science, Field Solution and Market Development team all regulatory and development details regarding products
// Successfully support, if needed, of Food Chain Project, with Sales and Market Development team
// Support Digital communication based on digital plan and calendar and digital solution to bring at commercial phase
// Support to implement CRM and account planning at Sales Level, track KPIs and support sales team and participate to customer engagement / account management segmentation and meetings.
// Develop and manage the annual budget for marketing (publicity & information) in agreement with line manager. Anticipate and communicate any change on the forecast into the SOP calls to improve commercial accuracy.
// Increase customer share and customer lifetime value through a balanced push/pull grower strategy /channel strategy that drives current and future country/cluster market strategy
// Increase customer share and loyalty through effective marketing campaigns and implementation
// Efficient management of the P&I
Experience, Skills and Qualifications.
// University degree preferably Agronomist with Crop protection experience
// Good knowledge of the market
// 3-5 years of experience in an agri-multinational environment
// Strong knowledge of marketing management tools (surveys, mix matrix, SWOT, marketing mix, customer & market segmentation)
// Capability to work in cross-functional teams, organization, rigor, reactivity and autonomy
// Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point…)
// Analytical strategic thinking
// Flexible and adaptable to new environments
// Fluency in English, French and Arabic
