We are recruiting a Maintenance & Utilities Manager - Automotive Industry
Roles & responsibilities:
General maintenance
1. Maintaining of Electrical Equipment & machineries.
2. Handle breakdown maintenance, time-based maintenance, preventive maintenance as per schedule and reduce the machine down time.
3. Maintain audit documents as per standards.
4. Maintain & monitor spare part stocks.
5. Continuous improvement & poka- yoke systems to be implemented.
6. Maintain Electrical Authorities document, Government requirement documents, test certificates, commissioning reports and service reports.
7. Drive energy saving initiatives
8. Spare parts localization, identify local technical support and identify machining sources near plant location. This will reduce waiting timing for spares parts and technical support.
9. Focus on spare part cost reduction
10. Keep strict control on maintenance budget
Electrical maintenance
1. Responsible for Power distributions system (from Incoming HT supply to LT supply distribution)
2. Knowledge on and responsible for proper working of - Generators / Compressor /power Transformers/Bus duct /HT & LT breakers /cooling towers/water chillers/oil chillers.
3. Air line / driers / Air receivers - Erection, commissioning & maintenance
4. Panel board / cables /cable trays /Earthing - Erection & maintenance.
Utility Maintenance
Ensure uninterrupted power supply to meet production requirement
To make sure compliance of electrical HV/MV installations to meet local standards and safety norms as prescribed by respective electricity board.
Periodically update electrical load addition and alteration and get safety approval from electricity authorities.
Carry out planned maintenance of electrical installation like incoming HV pole structures, power transformers, Bus duct, Breakers, MV panels Sub Switch Boards, cables and main switches, lighting etc., Correct in case of any abnormalities observed to avoid unforeseen power interruption.
Ensure earthing of equipment, tools and accessories and separate earthing for CNC machines
Maintain power factors as laid down by local standards to avoid penalty if any.
Must be very familiar with DG set erection, operation and maintenance and ensure standby power available in case EB power interruption and to meet any contingency.
Carry out planned maintenance of DG sets to ensure uninterrupted availability @ optimum fuel efficiency
Ensure availability of dry compressed air to meet process requirement like clamping/de clamping pneumatic actuators.
Perform planned maintenance of compressors, dryers and air preparing accessories as per manufacturer recommendation and rectify any leakages to avoid loss of energy.
Ensure availability of water for process requirement (coolant), and meet the needs of employees.
Carry out planned maintenance of pumps water lines for trouble free functioning.
Upkeep of water drainages & STP/ETP plants if any.
Make sure availability of spares at optimum inventory level to meet above utility equipment of power, compressed air and water system trouble free operation.
Must be very familiar with IATF standards, Environmental standards – ISO 14001/OSHAS and TPM practices to meet improvement of OEE, MTBF, reduction of MTTR and maintain related documents.

Mechanical maintenance
1. Relevant knowledge & experience in CNC machine maintenance
2. Relevant knowledge & experience in Hydraulic system /Pneumatics systems/ mechanical drawing reading
3. Relevant knowledge & experience in CNC machine /general machine/ conveyors
4. Basic tooling knowledge required (drill, insert, tool holders, etc.)
5. Knowledge in mechanical items like Belt , seals ,bearing ,gears , worm gear & shaft ,clutch unit, Hydraulic valves , pump , cylinders , pneumatic valves , clamping systems , ball screw , guide ways , lubricating systems, etc.
Electrical & Electronic Knowledge
1. Knowledge in - CNC controls / PLC /HMI / servo systems/Robots / Ac /Dc drives / diode /resistors / rectifiers/ IGBT.
2. Knowledge in reading electrical drawings
3.Knowledge in panel board elements like limit switch, sensors/reed switch, contactors, switch, breakers, Push buttons, lights, relay Elements, MPCB, OLR, MCB, smps, Etc.
4.Experience and knowledge in handling PCB
