A position has opened in our Rabat Electronics Pant as Plant Controller.
Reporting directly to Operations Controller EU&Africa, and managing a team of 11 employees, your main mission will be to lead the Moroccan Electronics Business unit to reach financial targets. We are looking for a Plant Controller who will inspire superior performance, strive for excellence, and lead by example.
You will oversee maintaining best-in-class internal control environment, supporting and communicating efficiently/effectively key business issues together with operational leaders for timely decision making.
You will also oversee strengthening and ensuring long lasting finance talent for Lear, through potential development and consistent succession plans.
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to)
Implements and applies Lear Corporation's accounting and internal control manual
Adapts Chart of Accounts to US GAAP
Prepare the annual budgets and ensure budget monitoring and control
Ensure the monthly closing of the financial statements and their consolidation
Follow the investments and depreciation of the company according to the procedures in force
Analyze and monitors the controls of the various components of production cost, stock level, transport frequency on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Prepares the forecasts and ensure the reconciliation and analysis of the discrepancies between the forecast and the realized.
Implement cost accounting and management control
Follows the policy on Cash, Financing, Costs, ...
Keep books up to date
Ensures payment of suppliers
Ensures follow-up of customers overdues
Set up administrative and financial reporting
Consolidates the analytical and general operating account
To be a successful in this role you must have
Master’s degree in Finance
Facility with numbers
Fluent in English & French
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (in Automotive industry will be a plus)
First experience in team management
QAD/ SAP, HFM, SOX Knowledge
