Production Supervisor - Automotive Industry
We are recruiting a Production Supervisor - Automotive Industry
Roles
1. Facilitate and ensure smooth running of production.
2. Ensure quality systems are in place and followed
3. Deliver the components as per the required schedule.
4. Fulfil the customer’s needs in terms of Quality, Quantity and packing.
Responsibilities
1. Allot machines to the operator based on schedule and skill matrix.
2. Ensure process parameters thro O/S and Control plan & First off report.
3. Ensure and practice 1S, 2S &3S in the shop floor.
4. Perform machine setting or adjustments whenever required - SMED to be followed.
5. Check and make sure the good condition of gauges and instruments.
6. Up keep machine condition - Follow CLITA- Log book has to be maintained. Keep WIP as per norms
7. Identify all parts in terms of Rejection, WIP and good parts & check if the parts are kept at the designated place with proper tags.
9. Train the operators and update Skill matrix, skill evaluation and OJT records
10. Monitor hourly production and report in time to the Line in charge. Conduct sun rise meeting and maintain a log book.
11. Monitor condition of fixtures and power packs. Take action in time and Maintain History cards. Also maintain tool history cards for all kinds of tools (Hob, coil, rolls & broaches) also ensure the working condition of all Poka yoke.
12. Verify the values entered in the Operator log book in terms of dimension, tool /insert change, production details and rejection details - 3 times in a shift and Affix your signature in the log book.
13. Keep the significant aspect list and measure the consumption. Adopt suitable measures to reduce consumables and RM.
14. Motivate and obtain Kaizens from operators and help them in implementing the same.
18. Do the machine setting as required and adhere to the PM schedule.
19. Check and fill the Machine condition points provided in the check list and take corrective actions for the gaps.
20. Any other work as assigned by the Reporting Head/HOD
