Missions :
• Primary interface between customer and the Manufacturing Plant
• Proactively interact with the customers at their site as required or as necessary
• Function internally as expert on customer specific requirements relative to product, process, expectations for quality related items
• Communicate regularly with customer quality organization to keep the customer view of quality performance up to date
• Coordinate and control closure of all customers related corrective and preventative quality issues in close cooperation with production plant quality, supplier quality and engineering organizations
• Responsible for validating and verifying corrective actions in production process
• Coordinate necessary sorting activities on-site (Customer plants) in cooperation with the plant manufacturing quality team
• Coordinates customer PPAP submission
• Attend all customer initiated regular and sporadic quality meetings representing the organization and position
• Manage data entry and updates of the customer issue response system and the Lear internal customer data entry system (LQTS)
• Coordinates and actively participates in visits by the customer for quality related activities or audits o When observations are identified by the customer, responsible for the root cause analysis, the actions to correct and the verification actions are in place and effective.
• Supervises the manufacturing plant liaisons on site at the customer location ensuring that issues are addressed and responded to.
• Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety or environmental risk
To be successfull in this role :
Bachelor degree in Engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Strong communication and coordination skills
Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology
Competent in quality tools, and process/production control methods
Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure the understanding of the agreed quality parameters and product specific requirements
Linguistic skills :
French & English are mandatory
