Job Purpose
Lead and support ER activities and HR investigations on case to case basis appropriately across the region.
This includes managing end to end incidents and investigations, appropriate case reporting, decision making and stakeholder management at regional or country level.
The role will be required to be delivered within the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Russia-CIS time zones. As of now it can be based out of any markets such as Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
Key Responsibilities :
Independently manage assigned casework, bringing cases, both incidents and investigations to closure on timely basis.
Manage critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented to ensure successfully completion within limited time and SLAs.
Investigate HR and Employee Relations issues, including:
Conducting investigation related interviews.
Producing complete investigation documentation.
Drafting reports and proposing remedial action based on investigation findings.
Analysing data from various reporting systems to ensure swift progress on own cases.
Management of stakeholders as related to the case ensuring appropriate closure of the matter.
Analyse and contract multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback.
Support in the HR cases related decision making and disciplinary process in the region for assigned cases
Manage Employee grievances in the region along with other ER matters across assigned cases
Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Compliance and Legal Provide input for in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices
Help analyse, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations across the region, as needed
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree – business, law, human resources or any other relevant function.
Generalist human resources and/or labour relations and demonstrated passion for employee relations, labour relations, investigations, or labour/employment law
Prior experience in conducting investigative work, including dealing with associated interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation would be beneficial.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Experience of effectively prioritizing workload to meet timelines and work objectives
Prior experience of preparing reports, detailing logical and accurate conclusions would be important
The ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing, would be required.
Proficiency in any other language from Asia Pacific and Middle East countries, including but not limited to Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, French, Chinese, Malay, would be a plus
