Job Purpose
Help coordinate planning and scheduling functions as per PCM, PM and/or SME. Able to understand planning comes before scheduling. Provide administrative support to the nominated Project Planner. Uses knowledge of general application of principles, theories, concepts, and JESA BEST PRACTICES and standards to perform work of moderate scope and complexity. Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Assist PCM, PM and/or SME to enter all Project tasks and associated resources and time frames into project planning software. Understand the WBS concept and AWP
Assist in baseline schedule development. Able to develop WBS with the assistance of PCM and/or SME.
Preparation of Design, Procurement and Construction Status Report for projects per PCM, PM and/or SME. Assist in gathering
Update the Design, Procurement and Construction Status Report as per project requirements, and PCM, PM and/or SME guidelines.
Assist in gathering and coordinating reception of data from different departments and contractors
Assist PCM, PM and/or SME with preparation of project progress curves from schedule and resource data (MS Excel and/or P6 Primavera). Assist in gathering data
Assist in Preparation and updating of project schedules. Provide assistance during IAP. Understand how to check schedule critical path and validate. Collect, validate IAP deliverables going into the schedule and align agreement with project team. Validate IAP and benchmark. Validate all activities have been captured in the schedule.
Input of activities and man-hours (resources) into project schedule per PCM, PM and/or SME. Assist in gathering data with estimating and discipline leads as per agreed WBS and/or AWP.
