Orange International Networks Infrastructures & Services (OINIS) is a technical department serving the group at an international dimension. With more than 1700 collaborators highly qualified trough the world, OINIS is a privileged stakeholder for networks, infrastructure and security.
OINIS’s mission is to designs, deploys, operate and protect the International networks for our affiliates, for our enterprise and wholesale markets. We are in charge of submarine cables, satellite connections and terrestrial optical fibers which enable Orange to connect its customers all around the world.

Team
VS(Voice Service) is the department, within GWEN (Global Wholesales & Entreprise Network), which is responsible for building “cost and quality effective” networks for UCC (Unified & Collaborative Communication) services (Voice, Video, Conferencing, Contact Center,…), and connecting them with other major telecommunication companies. These networks are built to manage effectively our customer’s communications and collaboration from and to our network. We are a very “hybrid” team, with a very unique mixture of technical, business and financial responsibilities.
D&A (Digital & Automation) team (part of VS department) is specifically focused on addressing digitalization and automation in VS activities (capacity management, forecasting, budgeting & cost management, profitability calculations, operational trend analysis… )
Our team is working in an AGILE environment driven by empowerment, autonomy, experimentation, transparency, cooperation, adaptation, flexibility. Mission
As a Automation & Software engineer, your role will be to support by developing Big Data , python and web Application ,the Digital & Automation team mission in the UCC services domain (Voice, Video, Conferencing, Contact Center,…). You will work on voice business on it’s different modules : Network functionalities developement , Network Capacity management, business control area, focusing on cost savings projects, third party vendors cost, traffic routing & analysis, Quality Of Experience analysis. All activities performed within a fully Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Automation & Software engineer your key tasks and activities will be:
Supporting the developpement of the Network functions & Services using the coding languages & Devopes intergration based on OpenSource .
Supporting the Digital Transformation & Automation of activities especially in the areas of Big Data management, Artificial Intelligence, Software development.
Developing Data preparation for our enterprise Data Hub platform (Data Base) powered by Hadoop technology using Spark Scala language and Database querying (Ex Oracle , MySQL)
Building web graphical user interface GUI, using web languages developments (ex PHP , Json ..)
Automate the preparation of Data using script languages (ex python ..)
Managing shell commands
Implementing coding best practices (code review, versioning tool, CI/Cd pipelines …)
Participate with Agile practices in our scrum organization (collaboration and Co-development, ceremonies, way of development with increments …)
Devops knowledge andAPI development tools (Ex : webAPI , Rest , Fast ) is a nice to have

votre profil
Education, qualification and certifications
University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
Language skills:
Fluent English required, both spoken and written
A good French communication level is key
PC & HW Skills:
Computer literacy & proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
Coding experience with programming languages (C , Java , Python ), Big Data (eg Python, Scala, Hadoop,…) and/or Web Solid scripting / data manipulation (eg Spark, Hadoop, MongoDB, Hive) / BI skills are desirable (ex PowerBI , Qlik , Tableau) , OpenSource ..
Hands on Experience in developing DevOps CI/CD pipeline on Gitlab Runner using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Ansible and Kubernetes. Experience in usage of Git version control systems
Experience in implementing software or web development projects
Experience of working in Agile software development environment using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)Manage his or her own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while being aware of possible issues in relation to the priorities of others
Essential skills and knowledge
