Position overview:
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, our future Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer involves a wide range of responsibilities related to quality, supplier management, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish the organization for receiving and inspecting raw materials.
Address supplier complaints (8D reports) using SQTS.
Monitor supplier complaints and action plans and chargebacks.
Approve new materials.
Conduct audits in the Raw Material Warehouse/Picking Area/Trucks.
Ensure the request and approval of PPAP via the PH system.
Define shelf life and storage conditions for components.
Monitor supplier changes (SCR).
Request supplier improvement plans (WORST SUPPLIER).
Escalate raw material issues to Regional SQA.
Participate in the analysis of internally detected raw material issues.
Approve supplier references in the QAD system.
Review plans in SEM.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules & environmental requirements.
Actively collaborate with all functions to achieve/maintain the following certifications: IATF 16949.ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Technical degree.
Good Knowledge of project milestones.
Proficiency in the 8D problem-solving methodology.
Strong skills in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PSW).
High level of English & French languages, spoken and written
