Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join an international company as a Supply Chain Manager in our System Protection plant in Tangier.
In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of good relationships with customers and suppliers.
The Supply Chain Manager will manage a team of 8 persons.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer-service activities including budget, order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production, and quality ensuring that customer service creates competitive advantage in marketplace including resolving critical customer complaints.
Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution.
Establish, implement, and manage system to evaluate, monitor and report supply chain performance.
Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues
Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future
Responsible for managing the shipping and warehouse function and ensuring the warehouse and loading docks are properly maintained.
Responsible for handling all inquiries or complaints and offer solutions to logistic issue and/or responding to corrective actions in a timely manner
Participates in the establishment, enforcement and implementation of plant work rules, policies and procedures and is responsible for the continued maintenance of the Standard (ISO…)
Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies.
Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements.
To adhere and be compliant to the policies and procedures in regard to quality, security/safety and environmental standards and strive to continuously improve processes.
To ensure compliance with Federal-Mogul Quality and EHS policies, procedures and practices.
To respect the environment and act consciously of environmental responsibilities.
Required Skills
Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management.
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment (automotive highly preferred) in a Supply Chain role (preferred Supervisor role)
Experience in Inventory and warehouse Management.
Experience in Operation scheduling.
Experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP, QAD, etc.).
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Team player.
Good time-management skills.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
English language- fluent.
