Our Team
GRA International Region Submission Excellence Head is a high profile and visible position and will have the unique opportunity to define, implement and manage the evolution of the current CoE Model (renamed as Submission Excellence). He/She will have a strong functional lead role with the Community of Practice of Submission Excellence. In partnership with Region/MCO/country heads, he/she will be accountable for the designing and driving the ways of working of the new e2e submission model across International Region, including the design and implementation of the model to ensure an efficient model. The responsibilities include the design of the resource model, decision on resource allocation, and partnering with global functions such as Labeling, CMC and GRA ops and the local organizations to define the most efficient model for submissions and for workflow. The successful candidate will be critical for the integration of different teams in the region. He/she could be based in any country in the International Region (as long as it is in line with global guidelines) and will be part of GRA Int´l leadership to drive, lead or contribute with GRA Int´l strategies for the future.
Main responsibilities
Successful implementation of the Submission Excellence model;
Design, definition and implementation of the new operating model in partnership with local teams and global CMC, Labeling and GRO ops.
Resource model development, resource allocation decision, in partnership with local teams.
Implement a governance model across Int´l Submission Excellence teams;
Define consistent & harmonized operating model and implement performance reviews on KPIs/metrics with Region/MCO/country heads to ensure efficiency & identify areas of improvement;
Promote sharing best practices & knowledge transfer across SE teams;
Connect global stakeholders

• Promote the culture of Ethics and Business Integrity in the team by serving as a role model by ensuring appropriate knowledge and adherence to the principles of ethics and integrity, Sanofi policies and codes of conduct that regulate the pharmaceutical market.
• Comply with and promote Sanofi Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies in relation to the team, which includes the Road Safety Program (Road Safety) with the purpose of preventing accidents, avoiding health risks, promoting the well-being of employees and reducing environmental impacts resulting from the execution of their work activities.
• Support Sanofi Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and initiatives to ensure all employees and partners are treated with respect and receive equal opportunities.
About you
An academic degree on health sciences, life sciences, regulatory affairs, or similar combined with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience from the pharma or health care sector.
Strong functional leadership, Strategic Thinking, functional decision making, negotiation skills & Influence, excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience leading multi and complex initiatives, and solutions oriented with a pragmatic attitude when solving tasks, ability to work autonomously.
Experience in regulatory affairs, excellent writing and presentation skills.
Fluent in English.
