Roles & Responsabilities:
Reporting to the R&I Department, as a PMO Manager, you will:
- Demonstrate Project Management Excellence at every step:
Advocate project management excellence by utilizing & maximizing its key principles:
Successfully lead & close projects within your domain
Guarantee project decisions have a strategic foundation based on project management principles
Show strong project management expertise & leadership in the organization, coaching peers, sharing knowledge with cross-functional teams
Advocate best practices & key learnings in the organization:
Lead innovation, renovation and efficiency projects and close post-mortem, driving continuous improvement. Utilize best practices & key learnings to influence cross-functional stakeholders in decision making
Ensure project scoping is based on best practices & key learnings and challenges stakeholders on these at every step
Propose and drive changes in Project Management best practices
- Portray thought Leadership on Project Management Methods & Tools:
Optimize use of project management methods & tools
Is able to drive better insights & project execution by utilizing project management methods & tools
Bring forward innovative solutions that optimize existing project management methods & tools or implement new ones in the organization
Seek external insights in new & innovative project management methods & tools and brings this into the organization
- Strive for continuous profitable growth:
Realize value through innovation, renovation and efficiency
Understand the business values and uses it to drive the team
Oversee that projects are aligned with other projects in the organization and are aligned with the business strategy
Proactively unlock new profitable growth and/or efficiencies opportunities in the organization
- Influence stakeholders & drive decision making:
Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders:
Identify stakeholders for each project across the organization
Complete an assessment of stakeholders to understand motivators, drivers and goals
Convince and align key stakeholders on resource allocation and project scoping
Steering business decisions with others:
Ensure any decision contributes to the KPIs of the project and is able to influence stakeholders on this
Hold others accountable by appropriately sharing responsibilities with others, plus negotiating with them effectively without having formal authority
Resolve conflicts and challenging situations effectively, plus manage sizeable stakes/impact for the organization
- Manage cross-functional Planning & Execution:
Leading a cross-functional team through project execution:
Lead a team through project completion by ensuring clear roles & responsibilities
Use different techniques to solve project problems or facilitates the team to finding a solution
Demonstrate ability to run a structured cross-functional resource planning process
Maintain an up to date and aligned planning:
Plan the budget and influence other functions on the effectiveness of their resource planning
Pro-actively manage and/ or mitigate project risks and communicates this regularly to stakeholders
Demonstrate continuous leadership in project planning, every step of the way
Continuously seek project improvement:
Adapt project planning to adopt newly agreed learnings or WOW from other projects
Continuously revisit planning and identify possibilities for reducing time, i.e. crash the schedule, fast track
Pioneer in the testing and leadership support of new adopted methodologies
Unlock optimized value of Business Opportunities in line with strategy:
Maximize business opportunities
Challenge improvements on the Business Case towards the project team
Embed business opportunities by realizing new or adapted innovation or efficiency projects
Lead projects as a key change agent in a complex environment
