Position overview:
Reporting directly to the Electronics Global Supply Chain Constraint Office Director. Your main responsibilities will be to lead cross-functional teams to plan and flawlessly execute programs that exceed both customer and internal expectations and win Program Profitability
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Manager is the overall leader of the program.
Leader of the cross-functional team (sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, and purchasing).
Drives the cross-functional team to define and execute the program plan in a manner that meets customer’s expectations while achieving internal objectives and requirements – Project delivered on time, within budget, within approved profitability, and to required quality standards.
Plays a key role in interfacing, communicating with, and managing our customers in a manner that maintains customer relationships while protecting Lear’s interests.
The Program Manager serves as an escalation point both internally and externally. They are accountable for making and delivering on commitments on the part of the company.
Takes the lead in reaching the yearly targets for the Cost Technical Optimization Ideas (CTOs) in the program.
The Program Manager Leads and Owns the Program Profitability Recovery Plan for the impacted projects.
Identifies possible risks and critical points and applies the necessary corrective actions by escalating to get the needed support.
Develops and maintains overall program plan and timing.
If changes are required, lead cross cross-functional team in the evaluation and implementation.
Negotiate changes with customers to manage challenges while meeting overall program objectives.
Oversee finance and operations in developing PAR documentation aligned with customer commercial agreements.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Engineering degree preferred M.S.E. and/or MBA preferred
Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in electronics
At least 5 years of work experience in project management leading cross-functional teams, both local and distributed, in highly dynamic environments.
Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with customers.
Fluent English (Other languages depending on the target customer will be a value-added)
Proactive, accountable, can-do attitude, resilient
Experienced in Supply Chain
